What would cause this?

Okay - I had pineapple and stawberries in a large quanity on Sunday afternoon - lots more then I have ever had since Caeden was born.

He had a very pooppy diaper this morning that DH said had what looked like little red skins and white seeds in it - I didn't see the diaper -
but he was very fussy last night and up alot (never thought to check the diaper as I haven't had to change diapers at night in a long time)

Could what I ate cause this?  What do you think?

Silly question but he didn't actually eat any himself? There's no way he could have eaten anything else himself that might have been red or fit this description?
If not and I'm assuming no then the seeds and bit of fruit themselves wouldn't have come through your milk.  I'm not a doctor but what you were seeing could have been some sort of reaction and even possibly some bleeding caused as a result of a reaction to what you ate.  Strawberries and pineapple are both often described as allergenic foods. I think if you worried you could talk to your doctor or perhaps try and eat a smaller amount and see what happens.

Ask weird nappies/diapers to be saved next one. Other people's descriptions are never the same - Won't that be fun!

Well - no more red stuff - more white though - it was in the diaper - yes I checked it closely! I figured out what that was though when I saw it  - I made his rice ceral a little chunkier this week and it was little bits of undigested cooked rice. No clue on the red pieces though - if we see them again we will save it and call the dr and see what he says - I may stay away from strawberries for awhile.

And no - he didn't eat  any of them  it was just me - and I know it couldn't pass colors like that too him I just couldn't think of anything else he had eaten!
