9 week old night wakings...need advice
« on: March 08, 2006, 21:54:22 pm »
I know that my 9 week old will probably still be waking through the night. No problem there. But for some reason the past 3 days he has started waking at exactly 1:30am...then after that about every 2 hours and sleeps restless the rest of the night.

He usually goes to bed around 8pm and even as early as 7:30pm on his own.

What could be going on? I cluster feed and then dreamfeed at 10:30pm and he has gone as long at 2:30 or 3 without waking for a bottle. Could he be hungry? The other night he only drank 2 ounces, but last night he drank the whole 4 ounces. Then was up again a few times b/w 4:30am. We fed him then since it had been 3 hours, but then he only took 2 ounces.

Need some advice please.

Hi there

Hm, it could be a growth spurt - it would be a little early but then not all babies hit their growth spurts exactly "on schedule", although I notice Jacob is textbook so he would be most likely to  ;).

Was last night the same?
