BF .... and teeth ! Ouch

Hello

Just a quickie - does anyone have problems with feeding a lo with teeth? My boobs are feeling very sore again (Henry is 8 months) and he only has 4 teeth (well, 3 1/2 really). He doesn't bite ... they just seem to rub! Will it get easier?!!!

I'm just starting to experience this.  I've been bit 3 times and I always thought I'd prepare my reaction, but guess what, I did just what all the books said I would.  I screamed.

I know just what you mean! I was okay when DS just had 3 at the bottom but then he got 4 at the top all at once and boy did I know they were there  :o  It does get better, I'm not sure if your nipple just gets used to it or if LO adjusts his suckle but after about a week I stopped noticing  :) HTH

HI ladies,

I have been bfing for 8months2weeks and it does get better, just like you got use to the 'sucking' of your new baby, you will get use to this too! It lasted for a very short time, I noticed it more when top teeth came in.........my DD has 7 teeth now!! She would only give me a little bite when her teeth cut........that was it..........she would rather chew my sholders LOL!! Hang in there, you'll be glad you did!! TRUST ME!
