GREENPEACE, the watchdog institution for the environment, says Heinz Baby Rice Cereal, with a best before date of March 12, 2007, contains genetically engineered (GE) rice.

If you are sensitive about GE products, you might want to switch to a different rice cereal...

In today's news, the H J Heinz Co has had the baby food tested in independent labs, found no trace of genetically-engineered materials in it and issued a statement to that effect.

We as consumers are again in the twilight zone, not knowing where the truth lies!
