Although it could be teething or the cold, that age is the right time for the spoon refusal phase. Will she eat other finger foods besides cheerios and puffs? If so, problem solved...offer her finger foods and try the spoon again every so often to see if she's willing to take it again. It's relatively easy to maintain a healthy, balanced diet on only finger foods. Steamed veggie chunks and ripe fruit chunks are a great way to make sure she's still eating well.

You can try similar crunchy foods like bits of waffles or toast spread with something healthy like veggie puree to try and keep some variety in there. Hang in there...either way, it will pass, so your best bet is to go with the flow!
