stopped spoonfeeding

hi
  can anyone give me some advice Tom has been refusing all his spoonfeeds now for about five days, took him to doctor who said his throat is pink but not red same with ears. I know he is teething but am worried about weight loss anyone have any ideas i would be reall ygrateful thanks

Poor baby.  My advice would be to give him baby tylenol or motrin 30min before each meal (making sure to wait at least 4 hours in between doses for tylenol & 6 hours for motin), and see if that helps him feel more comfortable.  If he is breast or bottle feeding as usual, you shouldn't have to worry about any weight loss.  The solids he is eating now are not nearly as important as continued BF or bottle feeding.
