weaning and no periods yet

Hi
I've been weaning my DS for about a month now, We only bfeed in the morning. He's been introduced to a bottle since 2.5 months, he is now 4 months. I've been feeling like period cramps for about 3 weeks now and nothing yet. Has this happened to anyone. Did preg test and was negative. What could be causing this.

Sometimes, even after weaning completely, mamas won't get their period back until up to 3 months.

Trust me, this is to my dismay.  We're waiting to start on my 2nd little one.

Thanks for the reply. Have you been having cramps also as if they were coming. At first I thought it was ovulation then after a few days I ruled that out. Now it's been adout 3 weeks.
We are also hoping on starting number 2 soon. When baby is 6 months. It took us 2 years for our 1st one, so we want to start early.

No, I've never experienced cramping, but I didn't prebaby either, so I would not be in a great position to answer that.  Hope you find out what it is.
