What to do with DS when gardening???
« on: March 22, 2006, 14:24:26 pm »
Hi,

I would love to get out in the garden and start my gardening, but I'm not sure what to do with my DS.  He's almost 1, not particularly crawling yet and certainly not walking.  If I put him in his buggy I know he'll be bored and if I give him toys to play with, they will end up on the floor.  I would love him to be outside with me, but just don't know what to do with him!!

Any ideas?

When Ds was little and I needed to garden, I'd either do it when he was asleep or when he was beginning to move and find interesting things in the garden, like flowers to pull, i took the travel cot/pack n play outside with toys in and he sat in there quite happily playing.

We also used to put up the travel cot when we were outside, sunbathing though not gardening  ;D ;)
