Has anybody's lo had Excema around their eyes?  DD has had VERY red skin around her eye. I thought it was a plugged tear duct. I took her to the Dr. and she said it was Eczema. Then she said I shouldn't use anything aside from creme on her eye. No hydrocortisone or anything perscription. She is 8 months old. I am so upset b/c I catch people all the time looking at her eye. I am sure they are thinking that it is pink eye or something contaigous. I just want it to go away.

Has anyone used hydrocortisone around their lo's eye? Or has anyone had any luck w/ anything else for around the eyes?   :'( :'(

TIA

I would definitely NOT use hydrocortisone unless it's really bad or really bothers her. Have you tried Mustela cold cream? Very gentle and works well when my DD gets a patch or two.
