Do you give water after solids?? My dd won't take a bottle so I give her a lil water after meals.  Is this alright?? I give it to her in a cup.

i personally think that as long as your lo is gaining weight and thriving at this age it is fine to give water...although he is a little young to be on solids but that is between you and your dr ;) and something i won't get into as i started them early and it ended up a nightmare! anyway, i would/will give dd some water with meals, and right before a nap so her belly is fuller and she doesn't wake early b/c she is hungry, then by the time she wakes her belly is empty and ready for a full feeding.
