Spitting Food
« on: April 04, 2006, 17:12:55 pm »
Ok, this is a new one for me.  My 6 month old now spits food (it is quite cute, but very messy).  Am I doing the right thing by immediately stopping the meal and cleaning her up?  She willingly opens her mouth for the bite, so I am not entirely sure it's a signal that she's full.
Thanks
~Rachel

Sounds to be like your little one is being checky, i would ignore it clean him up as you are feeding, i find DD shakes her head and will not open her mouth if she is full.
