Gonna ask a dumb question first: what else is in it?

I would wait with nuts until twelve months;I am also not sure what the benefit of pesto is; it is full of salt( Parmesan) and not that high on nutrients (does taste good though).

It has parmesan (probably spelt wrong) olive oil and lots of basil. I am trying to feed her pretty much what we eat. We would also have veg with it so main nutrition woould come from them.

I would definitely hold off until at least a year - you risk a nut allergy issue otherwise... I would just feed her the veggies and not the pesto!

the pine nuts would be my concern until 1yo. until then, you could make your own with basil, olive oil and parmesan.

I would hold off too -- pine nuts are the only food that I'm allergic too, so I have a vested interest in avoiding them! I'm pretty sure that my mom never gave them to me too young though
