Hello everyone. I guess anyone who's read my posts has figured out that I'm a 1st time mom
lol. I am having a bit of trouble with my son's solid feeding schedule.
Here is the schedule that I am on right now:
7:00am BF
8:00am cereal and or fruit 2-3TBS
8:30/9:00 nap 1- 1 1/2 hrs
11:00am BF
12:00/12:30 veggies and fruit 1-2TBS (usually 1)
1:00 nap 2hrs
3:00pm BF
5:30 veggies and fruit 3TBS
6:30 bath
7:00pm BF and bed
11:00pm dream feed
This works ok for the most part, but sometimes my lo will wake up early from a nap and then be tired by the time that it is time to eat solids. So then we have a problem with a fussy baby who is rubbing food in his eyes b/c he is tired. It's really a mess. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've tried offering the solids right after the bf during the lunch time (this is where we have the most problems with this) but he'll only take a couple of bites and then turn his head away. Please let me know how I can keep from spoiling my lo's mealtime and how to avoid the overtired and eating at the same time situation. Thanks.
