Spicy food

My Lo (nearly 13 months) shows interest in everything I eat - he's quite a fussy eater so I've been offering him bites of this and that to try and stimulate his taste buds. Recently he had a tiny taste of my veggie burrito - and really enjoyed it! Similar result with the Nasi Goreng (Indonesian fried rice) that I was eating yesterday. He does generally eat a very healthy diet with fresh veggies, fruit, yoghurt and some chicken or lentils occasionally...would it be ok to gently spice his food?

Absolutely!!!!!!!!! My little one has been eating curries since she was 11 months old and absolutely adores them, in fact she is most fussy with bland food!

Thank you! My (Japanese) friend was shocked when she witnessed the fried rice incident!

That is great info everyone as i often put a little chilli in our sauces and love our curries but i though it might upset DD to much.
