EASY great but it's not just luck is it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all,

Like most of you here I have spent a lot of hours trying to get my LO's on to good routines and with both of them it has paid off.

I was just wondering if I am the only one that gets annoyed when people say I am lucky that my kids sleep well. What do they think I just pop out these sleeping machines.

I know it's because they don't understand about sleep as much as what Tracy has taught us  but when you have put so much hard work into it and given up some things to do it well it grates a bit.

What has been your experiences and reactions from others when you talk about EASY?

P.s Do you find people say "oh I tried that" and it didn't work but you know they didn't give it a proper go! I know it took some serious hanging in there from me and hubby before we turned a corner.

The negative response I always got was "I can't believe you wake her for a feeding!"  Drove me crazy, but dd was sleeping 12 hrs a night from the get go.  I had to wake her for a night feed.  Now, she wasn't always a good napper, and no one understood why I stayed home all the time trying to get her to sleep.

I have people who say "Good for you" when they ask about him sleeping and I reply with "he sleeps through the night". I think its a bit of jealousy or envy for those who do not have that luxury. But of course, I do believe MOST sleep problems can be remedied--speaking of course, from my person experience with DS--who didnt sleep at all before EASY!!!
