Never knew that.  Of course, the doc only gave us Prevacid samples to shut momma up.   ::)  Silly guy.  Good luck Stacie!!

Stacie, I hope the specialist has more answers! We never tried Prilosec. It takes a good 5-7 days for the Prevacid to get into the system, it is an acid inhibitor and also heals the damage that has been done by the reflux. I remember being almost ready to give up  when it started working so well, Max was my champion sleeper going 12 hrs nights at 8 weeks. (2x day doses, 5mg of powder granules per dose, so 1/3 packet each dose)
