shorter night sleep....could it be due to potty training?

we are going on Megs 4th day being potty trained.....no accidents!!!! the last 2 days she has woken between 10.75hrs and 11hrs instead of her usual 12...she wants the potty. but after she goes, she doesnt' go back to sleep. could she be waking early b/c she come to consiousness enough to realize she has to go and doesn't want to go in her diaper?

will this pass? any others have this problem before?

I haven't been through this myself yet but I read up a bit in the Potty Training section for Toddlers and it does seem to throw off sleep a little bit.  Sorry I didn't find any solutions  :-\  Good for you for getting started so early!  Hopefully it will iron itself out.

Maybe you can give her her last drink at night a bit earlier? I am strongly against restriction of fluids at night but that might work... Does she go right before she goes to sleep?

One the other hand... going to the loo in the morning is a reason for us to get up, and not go back to bed, isn't it?
