Too much water?

My dd has been attempting to drink out of mom and dad's cup for quite some time so about a month ago I got her a sippy cup. I would give it to her w/ a bit of water after her cereal. She has begun to really LOVE her water. Should I restrict the amount of water she is drinking as long as it isn't interferring w/ her breastfeeds? She really seems to like it alot!

My daughter absolutely loves water from her sippy cup too!
I have asked other parents at the play group I go to and they all have similar situations - their babies love the water!!

One of the mothers said that she thinks its because its probably a neat sensation going down their throats...Breastmilk doesn't flow like water from a sippy!!
I don't think water will do any harm, if she likes it let her enjoy it!  :)

i would just go with it - as my dd has loved water since 5 months too! as long as it doesn't interfere with the amount of bm/formula - i think that there is no problem..and will also help if lo gets constipated at all ;)

I agree with everyone my DD also loves water from a cup be thankful your little one will have water. I hate water and don't drink enough of it unfortunatly.
