Two different veggies??
« on: April 20, 2006, 13:03:37 pm »
I just started my dd on veggies almost a week ago (when she turned 6 months).  If I started a new veggie today (squash) after her breakfast bm, can I feed the same old veggie that I started with (zucchini) at lunchtime since I know there isn't an allergy to that?  I want to keep giving her the squash, but I wanted to keep offering ones she likes as well. Is this o.k. or do I need to stick with the one veggie for three days solid?

TIA,
Shelby

What I do sometimes is the new stuff in the morning.  Then the new stuff mixed with the old for lunch.  Or not totally mixed, but "marbled".  So far she and her kitty buddy have been enjoying this.  (Scout hangs out at mealtimes to catch stuff that spills.    :D )
When you're soaring through the air, I'll be your solid ground.  Take every chance you dare.  I'll still be there when you come back down.

Good idea. Yes...I imagine our dog's new hang-out will be around my dd high chair! Oh the fun she will have!

Thanks for the idea. We will try it this afternoon!

Totally agree with Mouse Mum. Our dog does the same thing at all DD's meals as well  :)
