When to change to 4 hour EASY
« on: April 23, 2006, 00:36:43 am »
My LO is 3.5mo. gestationally, 5.5 mo. true age.  2 weeks ago we started the 3 hour EASY.  Things have gotten much better, and I'm now looking ahead and wondering how I'll know when he needs to change to the 4 hour routine.  He is just a little guy- at his last Dr. visit he was 10lb. 6oz.  I'm just afraid of missing the signs.  I read on one of the other posts that some LOs can give tired cues at a certain time out of habit, not necessarily true sleepiness.

Here are some signs of needing to transition:   https://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=41061.15
1. Not taking as much at a feed (baby not as hungry at 3 hours)
2. Erratic Night Wakings
3. They are extending their awake times
4. Starts taking 45 minute naps

You really have to watch his cues and let that be your guide.
