another intro to solids question
« on: April 24, 2006, 19:26:06 pm »
sorry, i know nothing on how to intro solids.  My question is regarding the beginning.  my ds eats solids 2x/day, i just started him on fruits, he has tried some veggies with no problems though.  would you feed the same new fruit both times or fruit in th emorning and familiar veggie at night?  jsut looking to see what everyone else did.  TIA

I would stick with the new food (whatever it may be) in the morning so that you have the whole day to keep an eye out for reactions.  Offer it again the next morning and familiar foods for the second meal.  After 3-4 days, you can move the new food to the second meal.
