get better!!!!!!! >:( :( :'(
My ds is not eating any solids right now for some reason........was eating them fine.  I tried offering before and after meals and he just won't eat anything/.............every now and then - like yesterday - he ate a whole jar at 3:30 in the aft.......out of nowhere......not really sure what to do?? I think he would sleep just that extra hour that would make his day and my day in terms of routine get much better!!!!!!

any ideas or experience with this???

I have read your other posts and know that Logan is teething, big time.  That can affect appitite!  Try (I know it's hard) to go with the flow and keep offering him the food.  He will not starve himself and tomorrow is another day.

Have you tried finger foods, or is he rejecting those too? Like Rachel said, it could definitely be teething, but that's also a really common age for babies to prefer finger foods only. Hope things get back to normal soon!

i am going to try more finger foods and see how that goes.....I know i am stressing a bit too much but i have allot going on ....no more routine after a long time of nightwakings due to teething , a new helmet he wears 24/7, a new development (rolling both ways) and he also has to see drs for appt as well..........oh did i mention separation anxiety

It is a tough age so many things going on at the moment.
4 teeth coming through that is alot and i definatly think this is the reason for the hunger strike.
We are going through it at the moment and DD just got her second tooth yesterday and wolfed down her dinner. Hang in their and keep offering it to him.

Madelaine is almost 8 months old and just starting eating again on Sunday after having been on strike for a week. I fretted for awhile but she is back on track. Just started eating again on her own. She loves her solids LOL. I wondered if she was getting in her two top teeth? she has had her two bottom ones for six weeks. She was feeling fine otherwise..peeing adn pooping. I wouldn't stress too much unless he stops drinking, peeing and pooping..

My DD is around the same age and is going through the same things, she has her two bottom teeth out and i'm hoping that she's still teething which would explain why she's on a food strike.  She only wants to BF and will only nibble here and there on cheese.  I totally feel your frastration, but hang in there and hopely it will pass.

Just wanted to let you know DD is also on strike!!  She's 8 1/2 months old and suddlenly stopped eating all her meals that she loved only last week!  I was a bit concerned but as she's still drinking her milk the HV told me not to worry.  DD is teething and so far she doesn't have any coming through but her gums are very tender.  She has also started crawling in the last week and she seems fine on the floor exploring but as soon as I put her in the highchair she suddlenly remembers she's in a bit of pain!

I tried her with toast this morning and she managed to eat that but like you I'm not looking forward to lunch time. It's quite upsetting when you've lovingly prepared a healthy meal only to have it refused back to you!!!

I was told by HV to keep offering food and don't make a big thing about it if dd doesn't want to eat, the more frustrated and stressed you become the more the baby will feel about the whole eating senario and could lead to problems later on.

Keep offering food and if it's not wanted quietly take it away without a fuss and let you baby play again.  I was told that my daughter will eat once she's hungry enough and not to constantly suplement veggies and meat with yogurts and other sweet things otherwise you really will have a problem later.

hope this helps - it sounds like its normal but its comforting to know there are other mums like us going through the same thing

good luck x
