Will this work?
« on: April 25, 2006, 08:52:56 am »
DS has a lot of trouble eating and also suffers from reflux..was wondering what happens if I add an extra scoop to his bottle but no extra water? i thought maybe he would get more calories this way and also make the milk thicker to stop him spitting up so much?

when Ryan was suffering with constipation we were told we could do it the other way around , 1oz extra water , but only for a week max !! making the feeds up incorrectly can lead to tummy upset . to be honest we never did it , we just tried to get more water in him .if you add extra formula you are making it thicker , he could choke , especially if he is a refluxer.
