Stacy,
Our day was so much better! DD went down in the AM after 2 and a half hours A time with no problems and just went down for her PM nap with no problem after 3 hr A time! I hope we are getting back on track, today was like it used to be, so I'm crossing my fingers! Now I have to work on getting her to bed early....she went to sleep just after 8 last night so thats a little better (she did wake @ 1:30 but one sip of h2o and a cuddle and she went back to sleep) so hopefully I can have her to bed @ 7:30! Thanks again Stacy!

I hear you Stacy - as soon as it effects nights - bye bye!  But for us the night wakings were all over the place.  930pm, 1am, 2 am, 430- no way to guess what would happen here.  Kaleb is much younger so that does make a huge difference.

Way to go Sophia!  When PJ was that age we were doing about the  same awake times.  I was shocked at how little awake time he needed.  He was still only doing 2h45min and 3 hours for afternoon nap up until 13 months!  then the big jump to not sleeping at all and sleeping late in the morning to 8am or later made me think he was consolidating or reorganizing.  so weird what they do.

Katy - our day looks similar to yours and once eloise gets that good morning nap, she no longer needs an afternoon nap.  I tried for a catnap during that time, even driving in the car and it was no good.  She's getting around 12.5 hours at night and 2 during the day.

shelby - I'm glad that the morning nap is working for you too.  It has helped for us.  I wish I could have done the other with the short nap in the am and long in the pm, but it just wasn't clicking.

sorry for the overtired babes.  i'm hoping mine doesn't get that way  ???

We got a nice night time sleep last night - a well needed 12 hours.  I had to put him down at 645 to get it, so now I am back to the - when to put him down?  in the past 2 weeks the few naps that were good he went down at 12, but before that he was getting good naps at 1130.  I think we will stick with noon, though.  The painters are here again today and will be outside his other window.  Then I think it is over.  I should go out there and ask them to do his area first thing in the morning!

It's been a crazy few days. Naps are always wonky when DH is home and Marisa is getting many teeth at once. Sunday we had two car naps because we went outlet shopping more than an hour away. Yesterday she refused to nap at all until we were in the car around 3pm and she took 2x 30 min naps. Today I'm going to put her down early to catch up - let her sleep at 10:30 if she wants for as long as she can so we'll see. Stacy - glad Kaleb is back on track with two naps. Meg, hope PJ sleeps well today. Welcome Esther! Sari, sounds like things are good - same with you Amy!

Oh and thanks for the food tips Stacy. Where did you find those burgers? Is Money the brand name? What about the tofu dessert?

ok - well he did 1.5 hours - fine on a 12h night, right?  Ugh, I really like 2 hour naps.  Ok for this big news............

are you all ready for this???

PJ greeted me at the door when I went in to get him after his nap.

You could have pushed me over with a feather.

What do you mean Meg? Did he get out of the crib? How?

Marisa slept for 2 hours 20 minutes which is great - of course since the nap started so early it ended at 12:55 - so will do 7pm bedtime (she fights sleep any earlier) and hope for the best.

YUP  climbed over the railing, i gues.  Unless he squeezed through the slats but i doubt it.  LOL  he is a chuncky  monkey.

Well I guess I will take his bumper pads off so he doesn't have anything to hoist up on.  I am not about to put my tiny baby boy in a big boy bed.  He is only 14 months!!
