HOw much water?

I introduced a sippy cup a few weeks ago with DS to get him used to it.  He used to just play with it, but now he can actually get the water out.  I give it to him after meals, and throughout the day for a sip or two.  How mach water can he have in a day or at a time?  He is starting to get more which is helping him with his constipation, but I don't want it to be too much.

Super Baby Food recommends a maximun of 6-8 oz a day

Wow - that is way more than he is getting.  I guess I'm in the clear.  That just seems like a lot for a 6 month old.  Guess I'm all set - thanks.

Yeah, there's no way my lo drinks that much either.  I fill up the 4 oz sippy in the morning and it's still at least half full at night...

Super Baby Food suggests beginning water when beginning solids....
