My 10 month old has been such a good baby with sleeping, until she realized she can now roll over and stand up in the crib.  now even when she's tired, each time i put her down she immediately flips over and pushes up, then cries if i don't pick her up and usually throws all her binkys out of the crib which further irritates her.  Putting her down has become extremely difficult, she's been on the EASY routine since birth and she used to go down with minimal shusshing so the only thing that has changed is the standing bit. Or could it be separation anxiety?
Help?!

hi!

doesn't quite sound like separation anxiety yet... more likely this is just a developmental phase.  pretty much you have to just ride her out.  let her stand, and when she cries, just go in & put her back down.   truly aggrevating for you, but probably the best thing you can do.  you can also help her practice standing & then sitting down during her normal A times too.  eventually, she will be satisfied with her new skills, but until then, good luck!!   :D

Thanks so much - i'll keep trying!  Also thinking of giving her a shorter nap, or no nap in the am to see if she'll go down better??  we'll see how it goes
