Hungry baby
« on: May 08, 2006, 23:58:17 pm »
My 6 mo old is just begining solids. He's difficult to read because he's very tired and teathing but I think he's quite hungry for "real food". On Sunday I introduced rice cereal in the am. I mix 1 tsp with 3-4 tsp milk and he loves it! Should I do it at lunch, as well, or bf instead for the extra calories? I don't want to teach him to become a snacker but I'm not sure he's getting enough to eat.

Also, about 2 weeks ago I fed him rice cereal for 3 days and he got a bad diaper rash. He seemed to be spitting up more often too. Should I be concerned about allergies?

Thanks

How often are you breastfeeding? Are you on the 4hr EASY? Is he sleeping through the night or waking for feeds? Could you post your routine for the day please that would really help me out  ;)
