Can someone explain me the 2-1 nap switch?
« on: May 11, 2006, 09:59:08 am »
Hi, sorry for the question, but I am not familiar with the 2-1 nap switch. Is it what T. Hogg explains briefly on "EASY after 9 months"? (that babies around 18 months sleep only one nap).
I am actually very interested on the topic. The problem is that Daniel still is sleeping 2 naps (he is now 8 months), one from 9 to 11 am and the other one from 1pm to 3 pm. However, lately he just sleeps from 2 pm to 3 pm (sometimes to 3.30 pm). He definitively refuses to sleeps at 1 pm.
In addition, some days ago he doesn't sleep at 7.30 pm,but around 9 pm. He cries and seems completely awake. I guess it is because of the naps (and his theething). This is a completely new behavior, before it was no problem at all for him to fall asleep on his own at 7.30pm, and to be honest, it was great for us as a couple!

Thanks a lot for any help or comments!
