Hello
Just wondering if anyone has tried pastina with butter with their lo? My pediatricains office says it can be introduced at 6 months during lunch or dinnertime. I didnt notice it being mentioned on the boards
Thanks!

Yes; I have been giving pastina to my little one from six months; it not that easily available outside Italy, maybe that is why it is not mentioned that much on the boards. I gave it with tomato sauce, pepper sauce etc.... I say go for it!!!!!!!!!!

Tried it with dd at 8 months and she didnt go for it. She loves pasta now though. Have never seen it outside Italy either though, maybe try with formaggino either.

Tomato is a common allergen, so if you're concerned about food allergies, you might consider holding off until 1 yr. It's also very acidic and can cause an upset tummy, so if you do introduce it early, keep an eye out for that.
