Success at nap time
« on: May 17, 2006, 19:40:59 pm »
Just wanted to share something....
My lo just feel asleep for her p.m. nap in  10 mintues!!!!!!!!!  (and I wasn't in the rooom AND she didn't cry). That is a record! Plus we were out doing errands this a.m. which usually disrupts her.   Yesterday nap took 20 minutes.  I don't want to get my hopes up....we've been doing baby whisperer for a few weeks and I think I might be starting to see some results. I can't tell you how relieving this is!  I have been going in when she stands up (even though she isn't crying) because this seems to speed up the process. I guess she gets tired faster.  I just lay her down and leave again. This is now working for us!

Also last night it only took 25 minutes for her to fall asleep and we weren't in the room!  Just a few walk ins to lay her down.

It's worth it everyone!
p.s.  My lo is 11 months almost and has never really fallen asleep on her own.  There is hope!
(But I don't want to get my hopes up).
