hi new to this so bear with me,

i have a fabby wee girl of 9 months whe sleeps through. but my concern is....

she goes down ok at 7ish she cries hard for 1-2mins (mantra cry?) then off to sleep. now that used to be her but for the last 2 months ish she often will wake again half an hour later crying. we leave her for a wee while again and sometines she goes off but more often than not i have to go in. she stops the minute i go in or pick her up and smiles.

advice please? or should i stop moaning as im getting a ful nights sleep....well apart from the snoring that is

Maybe she's not ready for bed at 7?  Perhaps try putting her down at 7:15?  How long are her naps during the day?

Fiona...could it be separation anxiety?  My LO is 10 months old, and began showing signs of SA about a montha and a half ago.  He would sometimes stand in his crib, crying for me, and when I would go in to get him..he would already be half asleep...as if he needed just one more hug ;)  Just a thought!

hi all who answered,

i think you prob all have very good points. have been trying a combination of things including not letting her sleep in in the morning!!!

i think the sep anx is prob the main thing though and one more cuddle is good for me too!

thanks fiona
