My DS is almost 7MO and our day usually goes like this:

7:30 bottle with 6-7oz
8:30 breakfast (oatmeal with fruit) usually 7oz
12 noon bottle with 1-2oz
1pm lunch (protein with veggies and dessert as fruit) usually 8oz
4pm bottle with 2-3oz
6pm dinner (vegies with rice and dessert as fruit) usually 10oz
7pm bottle 1-2oz max (sometimes nothing ::))

and that's it, he doesn't feed at night

hope this helps

Well after looking at other routines mine seems similar (except the lack of sleep part! She is as happy as larry with only 2 naps with the afternoon possibly 2 hrs but most often 45 min)

7am bottle (6.5oz)
8am brekkie (fruit and cereal)
9.30 Sleep (sometimes refuses!)
11am bottle (6.5oz)
12.30 Lunch (today will be first try of chicken and veggies - normally just veggies)
1.00 sleep (hopefully 2 hours)
4.00 bottle (somewhere between 3-6oz)
5.00 dinner (today will be first try of chicken and veggies - normally just veggies)
6.45 bottle (somewhere between 3-6oz)
7.00 bed
10/10.30 DF (3-4oz) trying to cut out

Just wondering if i should be feeding solids first, however she then refuses bottle???

At what stage do we start to reduce  the bottles to 4 (by cutting out DF) and then 3 per day?

Hi....my sons routine at that age;

7am bottle
8am solids
9am nap
10.30am bottle
12pm nap
2pm bottle
5pm dinner
6pm bottle and bed

I started solids first when he turned 8 months. This is only for lunch and dinner. He still always has the first bottle of the day before his solids.

We dropped the dreamfeed at 7 months (this was his 5th bottle) and dropped the 2pm bottle last month when he started leaving 100ml in both the lunch and 2pm bottle. We then adjusted his routine...see below (adjusted for age too as well as one less bottle)

7.30 bottle
8.30 breakfast
12-12.30 lunch
1pm bottle
1.30-2pm nap
4pm snack
5.30 dinner
6.30 bottle/bed

We took his cues to know when to adjust and drop bottles.

Hope this helps.

Kirsty

Hi!!

I noticed you are trying to cut out a dreamfeed. My Ds is 6months old and has slept thru since he was 6 weeks with no Dreamfeed at all.
My routine is pretty much the same except he doesn't have tea yet and has bottles at 3.00,5.30,7.30pm then to bed.
Just an idea if you wanted to cut the dreamfeed and still have him sleeping thru,by putting 2 bottles close together to fill her up.I have also been told by one of the mums on here they don't feed dinner past 6pm.

My Ds doesn't sleep too much during the day,but been he sleeps all night not to worried.

Hope it makes sense!!1
