Do you DF after giving a bottle at 9:30pm?
« on: May 23, 2006, 02:50:31 am »
Hi,

My (17 week old) LO was very grumpy tonight.  Usually he will go to sleep around 7:30-8:00pm but tonight he was just fussy (then got upset) and would not go to sleep.  He had his last bottle at 6:30pm, was given a bath, massage, etc. but would not goto sleep.  So around 9:30pm when he seemed to be getting alot tired and was in a better mood, I gave him a 3oz bottle to top him off to sleep.  He's sleeping now but I'm wondering do I still DF ?  I usually DF around 10:30-11pm and I don't think the bottle I gave him will sustain until 3am when he usually wakes up for another bottle.  What do I do???

Thanks,
Melodie

I probably wouldn't have done it, for the reason that your Lo won't be hungry ???

Let me know how you got on.

I agree I didn't think he'd be hungry if I DF so I just left LO sleep. But LO did wake up on his own a little after midnight crying and he was hungry.  So I fed him and he took 4oz.
Thanks for reply.
