Boy is he stubborn!!
« on: August 20, 2006, 15:35:21 pm »
My DS usually loves to eat and he will eat anything. But for last 24 hours, he won't eat unless HE can pick it up and feed it to himself. Normally not a big deal...except we are visiting family so I am limited by their pantry. And the ground pork, spahetti, tomatoes, and zucchni I made y'day isn't working for him! So his breakfast- canned peaches and a banana (not awful!). Luckily he is still nursing! This "cultery strike" came out of nowhere- no warning. I am sure we will survive...but it is frustrating!

Have been in the same boat for about 3 weeks now. I posted about this somewhere else as well since I am completely stuck for breakfast ideas which do not include cooking. Just make do the best you can. Mine takes everything with her hands including mashed potato!

So at lunch...he would take food from fork I offered just to put it in his mouth! I'm just worried that he's not eating as much and will wake up hungry tonight! In the last 2 weeks, he has suddenly formed "opinions"- he no longer wants to share toys iwth his older sister, no longer wants to wear certain clothes, no longer wants to be 're-directed'...i guess he is really a toddler now!
