Bath seats and bottoms
« on: May 30, 2006, 12:29:03 pm »
Ok, so I just got a bath seat at a garage sale for DS. It's kind of a bath ring. I am looking forward to having him sit more in the bath, since up to now we've used the Safer Bather pad which has him lying down in the tub. I've never used one of these bath rings before, and don't know how to wash DS's butt if he is sitting in the seat on his butt. I don't mean to be an idiot, but how do you wash his butt in the bath ring? Thanks.

Lol.. I had that thought too... I used to wait until we lifted Will out of his bath seat and wash his bum whilst I held him before getting him out of the bath. I suppose you could do it first though too so he was all clean down there before the rest is washed!

xx

Thanks, Helen; it's good to know I am not the only one with this problem!! :D :D :D

By the way, I just realized that Will is only a day older than Ethan.

We have the bath ring too, still use it, although ds has almost outgrown it!!!

We always wash butt and other boy bits at the end, as we are standing him up to get him out!!
Takes some manuevering, but we have loved the bath ring, and so has he, so it's been worth it!

we do the same, as part of the getting out routine she has her bits and bobs cleaned and has a good splash in the water out of the ring  ;D  I adore it because she can be do independent in the bath and with her bath toys, it also makes hair washing much easier  :P
