Need help
« on: June 01, 2006, 23:54:20 pm »
My dd will be six months on June 12. The problem is she is still waking at night to eat sometimes once but usually twice. We are on 4 hour easy and she has just started solids. My concern is thatshe only eats 3-4 oz at a feed. I've tried everything to get her to drink more eg. nipple size ,different shape, different bottles, more burping, less burping, waiting to 5,10,15 minutes and then trying again. She is df at about 10:30 then she is up at 2:00 and 4:30 wanting to eat I've tried not feeding but she won't settle for more then 15 min so I know it's hunger. I'm getting sooooooo frustrated. Any advice would be great.

Hi!  :) My guess is that your LO is not drinking much during the day because she is getting her fill of calories in the nighttime. I had this same problem, so I know how frustrating it is! What I did was start to water down my LO's nighttime bottles. Please read my post about it at this link https://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=46907.0 Then let me know if you think.  :)

Hi Leah's mom,
Thank you for the advice I will start tonight and see what happens. I Hope it works as I'm getting really frustrated and concerned over this issue. My dd doesn't look like she is starving, but I just worry she isn't eating enough.
