dropping a catnap at only 5.5 months?
« on: June 02, 2006, 16:16:02 pm »
Yesterday, my LO's catnap fell a bit closer to bedtime due to A time being extended (which made for a better, longer nap).  So, when time came for her catnap, she cried through the whole thing and never went to sleep.  So - how do I handle this, as I know there's no way she can stay up for a 4 hour stretch

8 wake/feed
10/10:15 nap
11:30 wake
12 feed
2 nap
4 wake/feed

*we tried a catnap at 6/6:15-ish and she didn't want it, so we just tried to keep her happy until bedtime @ 8.  Is it really possible she could handle a 4-hour stretch?  W/ just a cranky moment in the middle?  Also - what do you do when A time and S time equal longer then a 4-hour EASY?  Do you just waker them up....?  Because if she' taking a wonderfully beautiful nap, I wouldn't want to ruin that.
