Need Help on How to Start Changing Formula
« on: June 03, 2006, 06:53:02 am »
Hi Everyone,

We are living in the middle east and we will be travelling in July to Ireland however, the formula that my DS is now taking is not available there thats why Im planning to change his formula. I need some advice on how to start on this. Will I do it gradually or will i just change it altogether to all his feeds?

Many thanks in advance.

You really have 3 options available to you;
1. Depending on the length of your trip, take your formula with you
2/3. Do it gradually or just change it altogether to all his feeds (as you said in your post)

It really depends on your LO temperament, when I changed from stage 2 to 3 formula, I gave the new one twice a day and the older one twice a day (he only gets 4 bottles).

Are you able to get the 'new' formula in the middle East or where you planning on doing the gradual change in Ireland?

Have a good trip  ;)

Thanks very much for your reply.

Guess I will do it gradually like you suggested.

Yes, Im changing the formula to S26/SMA(Irl) because this is available both in the Middle East and Ireland.
