Establishing a day time naps routine
« on: June 04, 2006, 22:24:24 pm »
Do we need to stay at home to establish a nap routine? What happens later when we go out during the day and my daughter needs to sleep in her carriage/car seat?

Thanks,
Tuty

Staying home for a good 2-3 weeks solid is the best way to set up a routine for your LO.
When you have a solid routine in place it'll be easier on you and your LO. We go out right after DD's naps and try to be in before her next nap. If your LO has to sleep in a carseat or stroller once in a while thats ok. But if you have this solid routine in place it'll be easier on your LO and wont cause as much overtiredness or overstimulation.
