Are Cereals Considered Solids?

I was wondering for the purpose of this forum, if baby cereals (rice, oats, barley) are considered solids, or if solids are pureed fruits and veggies?

I'd consider anything other than breastmilk / formula as solids.

I agree.  Anything other than bmilk or formula or some water/very diluted juice is solids.

I always thought cereal was a solid too but I was wondering the same thing. I'm glad you asked. I felt silly  ;)

The other gals have it right...the purpose of this forum is to cover all aspects of solid feeding, including cereal!
