Hello, apart from sympathizing with all of you who are coping with early morning wakings, and finding that it might be related to naps, my question is: what is a good spacing between naps for a 10 month old?
My ds is clearly changing patterns of sleep, extending his previously 45 mins naps to 1-1.15 hrs, and yet after a few days we are back to starting point. Sometimes I find that putting him down as late as around 9.30 after a 6am waking gets more than an hour nap, but it does not work all of the time. I usually try not to go more than 3 hrs between naps and 4 hrs between his last nap and bedtime. But then I have put him to bed a few times after 2.5 hrs and resulted in a longer nap...other times he is not tired enough after two hours so...what do you think?
I realise this is confusing but I am confused, so it would be interesting to see what your spacing between sleeps looks like at this age
