Sort of long-winded...
I stopped nursing my daughter (12 months old) because I'm pregnant and my milk supply dropped considerably. She switched over to formula and is drinking three 8-oz bottles a day (total of 24 oz). I have heard that they should be drinking 16 oz of milk/formula after 1 year. Does anyone know how to cut out that extra bottle? Do I still give 3 bottles/sippies but with fewer oz or should she only be getting 2 with 8 oz?
At this point she is definitely transitioning from 2 naps to 1 and I'm having trouble figuring out when I should be feeding solids versus giving a bottle/sippy. Any advice would be great.
Our current routine:
7 am, wakes & eats breakfast (solids)
9 am, bottle/sippy (8 oz)
11 am, down for nap--sleeps 2-3 hours
1-2 pm, wakes & eats lunch (solids)
3 pm, bottle/sippy (8 oz)
6 pm, dinner (solids)
7 pm, bottle/sippy (8 oz)
Thanks again!
