I'm not sure if my dd is a fussy eater or not. She eats Yogurt, Fruit, porridge and Stage 2 (Mushy) Purity quite well, but i know that at 7 months she should be taking in more protein in the form of meat, to develop her muscles. She loves veggies (as long as they're really mushy). I have tried adding shredded chicken and meat to her purity, but she turns up her nose and won't eat it. I've also tried giving her the Stage 3 Puritys, with tiny chunks in, but she just pulled the funniest face, gagged and then refused to eat. I've also tried giving her finger biscuits which she plays with until they're mushy and then throws away!
I've been told that at this age she should be "gumming" (she only has 2 teeth
)her food to develop her chewing skills but she seems quite content to just swallow food without chewing it. Should i allow her to continue with this or should i try to give her chunkier foods that will have to be chewed.
