Getting through the 10pm feed.
« on: June 07, 2006, 12:21:21 pm »
Hello, I have a 7mth old baby boy and i want to drop his 10pm bf, but i am in need of some advice on how to get him past this feed, as he is now waking up looking for it.  I only give him 4ounces, but he is now having too much milk during the day.

Any suggestions please.

Thank you, laura.

why would you say he is having too much during the day? here is a link that can be helpful to wean that night feed:

btw if you do cut out that night feed your lo will naturally take more during the day - give it to him as it will help him reach his total calories needed and hopefully won't wake for a feeding anymore :)

Thank you for that link, i will have to give it a go.  The reason why i feel i need to drop this 10pm bf is because Joshua is having 20ounces a day + 3 meals and my healthvisitor also recommended i stop this pm feed. Joshua now weighs 21lb 9oz and she has told me he is getting rather chubby.

Thank you Laura
