12 MO will not drink milk.

HIya,

I hope someone can help me as i am becoming quite concerened. My 12 mo son will noyt touch his milk he will not even consider it, he pushes the bottle out of my hand before he has even had any. it has got to the point that the only intake he has of milk is the amount i sneak into his food which is not enough. I am going to start teaching him how to use a cup but i am worried he is not getting enough milk. he seems to pick up bugs and infections a lot at the moment and i worry this is a result of not getting enough milk. he has never been very keen on milk but this is getting ridiculous, any tips on getting it in him?

You could try extra yoghurt and cheese and other dairy foods.

Can he use a sippy/straw cup?

FWIW, when both my kids were over 12mths, neither got milk to drink. I give high fat yoghurt and cheese every day and add milk to cereal for them to get enough.
