Not drinking milk from sippy cup

I am sure this has been discussed before, but I can't seem to find the answer.  My dd will be 12 mo in about 1 week.  I am currently transitioning her from formula to milk in her bottles, but also trying to get her to drink milk from the sippy.  Well, she is fine when I put milk in her formula in the bottle--she barely notices as there isn't much milk in there, but when I give her the sippy cup with straight milk she refuses it.  She has been drinking water fine from the sippy for months now so I know it isn't the sippy cup that she is averse to.  ANy suggestions on how to get her to drink milk from a sippy??

My DS will not drink milk from a sippy - he looks at me as if I am mad when I offer it to him in his sippy cup.

Have you tried giving it to your lo in a cup with a straw? 

My DS has just learnt how to drink from a straw and thinks it is great fun, so am going to now start offering him his milk with a straw.
