Strawberries
« on: June 14, 2006, 11:59:21 am »
My DD had a first tast of a real strawberry last week.  There were no allergic reactions.

She is off her food at the moment (for about 3 weeks now) this is the only thing that she really enjoys.  How many can I give her, as I don't want her to get a stomach ache.  I give her 1 a day at the moment.

Isaac loves them! I let him have about 3 medium ones a day and he seems to be fine with that, not tummy aches ... I also make sure to feed him toast or something bland along with it.  He would eat a whole basket of them if I let him!

I cut them into quarters for Rachel and that way she thinks she's having loads but never has more than 4 a day.  she would also eat the whole punnet but she'd have to fight me for them.  mind you she'd probably win  ;D

Hi ya,

My DD loved strawberries and still does but we have to watch the nappies as they seem to be more acidic than normal and can make her sore if she has too many for too many days running. Just a warning.
