What happened to my atvar?

I can't see anyones avatars at the moment - theres just the little red cross.
I've tried refreshing and deleting temp files and wotnot but they aren't loading this evening xxx

And while we're on the subject of avatars, since I've come back from my leave of absence, I've noticed that I no longer have a rotating avatar.  It just shows my sweet little Stephen....while that's nice and I like him, I also like Zachary!   Any thoughts on that, o, wise ones??

I cannot see avatars either.  Well on this page, the only avatar that I see is Ciara's Mummy.  I too use Firefox if that makes a difference.
