Depends on Renee's temperment! If I tried to reduce Milena's feed time she would SCREAM until she was good and ready to be done! You could try cold turkey by offering the paci- if she's not hungry she should go right back out, if she's hungry she will let you know! If that fails then try to reduce feed time. I think paci-try first would be easier and I'm always into "easier"! Actually, just thought of something- if "just paci" doesn't work and you have to "reduce feed time" (and she ends up being a screamer) you could do a "pull and plug"- meaning you offer a shortened feed then de-latch quick and insert the paci quickly.
