toy kitchens - UK
« on: June 18, 2006, 20:41:43 pm »
My mum would like to get Sam a play kitchen for his birthday. The pictures in catalogues and on-line are so teeny. Considering how much they cost, it's quite a risk. Does anyone have a kitchen that they would really recommend?
TIA

Hiya

We bought this one for Gracie for Christmas and she LOVES it!

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/0533065.htm

It's not too big and the bits and pieces it came with have put up with a toddler bashing really well. Not a bad price compared to some of the others either.

HTH

OOOh definitely looks promising. Thank you very much.

On the photo you can only see the oven side - is there anything round the back at oven height?

No, nothing around the back. If you want I could take some more detailed photos of Gracie's so you can see it more clearly.

love

That's a very sweet offer but I think we're actually going to go for it anyway so no photos necessary. (I'm at the computer with my mum at this very moment kitchen hunting). I said 'Let's just go back to BW on the off-chance Mariek has responded' and you had, so now she's very impressed with the power of this site!

Just a quick word of advice, don't get the one in argos that is like a corner unit. I think its orange and green and about £24.99.  We bought one for ds and its quite unstable, fell over a few times, not worth it IMO.

Just thought i'd warn.  I Love the one Marie has!!! ;D
